Department of Agricultural Engineering Research started its activity in 1991 in three fields: "agricultural machines and mechanization", "irrigation and drainage" and "food industry and post-harvest technology". The implementation of megaprojects and research projects in order to solve the problems of the producers in the agricultural sector and executive departments of Fars province as well as scientific development is one of the missions of this department. So far, numerous plans and projects in the mentioned trends have been implemented by the academic staff members of this department and their results have been presented in scientific societies in the form of books, research articles, conference papers, and technical and promotional publications.
