In 1991, the Department of Economy started its activity in the field of economic research at Zarghan Research Complex. With the establishment of the Department of Economic, Social and Extension Research, the goals and scope of this department expanded and it continued to operate with the trends of economic research, social research and extension research in economic, social and extension fields. Currently, this department, having 7 members of the academic staff, implements its research activities in the whole of Fars province with the mentioned research trends.
